Having known Amanda Jennings and STRIVE for a number of years, I approached Amanda to develop a bespoke package of training sessions for the teachers at Brampton Primary School. Her longstanding expertise and dedication made her the ideal choice for this important initiative. The focus of the training was on understanding cognitive overload and the significance of retrieval strategies. Her approach was exemplary; she crafted and delivered engaging sessions that seamlessly blended theory with practical strategies applicable in the classroom.
She was accompanied by colleagues from her leadership team, enhancing the depth and breadth of the training. The organisation and preparation that went into these sessions were extensive, and Amanda and her team demonstrated utmost professionalism by arriving punctually and fully prepared.
Our staff were highly complementary about the bespoke nature of the training, finding it both insightful and impactful. Her dedication and commitment to Brampton Primary School were truly commendable, and we are eager to continue our collaboration with STRIVE in this academic year. I wholeheartedly recommend the training provided at our school.

I wanted to write to express my gratitude and thanks to Amanda Jennings and the team at Rye Lodge Primary School.
As a new headteacher and a school in need of improvement, I was asked to work with Amanda Jennings for guidance and inspiration. The impact Amanda and her team have had on our journey has been truly transformative. The support we received went beyond practical advice; they helped us reimagine what our school could become.
Amandas’ teachers and leaders not only demonstrated best practices but also provided us with hands-on mentoring in implementing them, from innovative teaching techniques to a revitalised approach to student engagement. The emphasis they place on inclusivity, high expectations, and emotional support for both students and staff served as a powerful model for us. Amandas’ advice on managing difficult conversations with a view to making improvements was invaluable. We took on board advice on the importance of creating a positive learning culture that fosters curiosity, resilience, and respect among students.
Seeing the remarkable atmosphere at Rye Lodge was inspiring for both our teachers and leadership team. From well-organised classrooms filled with engaged students to enthusiastic, supported teachers who truly enjoy their work, Rye Lodge embodies what an outstanding school should be.
The support Amanda provided gave renewed confidence to our subject leaders, with their advice and clear guidance required when speaking with Ofsted. This has empowered us to feel “Ofsted ready”.
We are deeply grateful to have had Rye Lodge as a mentor school, and thanks to their ongoing support, we are now on a clear path toward achieving excellence. They have helped us set new standards, transforming both our goals and our school community. “

I’ve worked alongside Amanda Jennings for a year while on the NLE pathway. The overall experience has been extremely valuable, from the visits to her schools to the support on developing our curriculum, all members of my staff team came away with a wealth of knowledge to use back at our school.
As a leader Amanda was able to support me to focus on the key issues and address them quickly. Coming towards the end of the year we received the Ofsted call the support from Amanda definitely was a vital part of making that whole experience successful. I can’t thank Amanda and her team enough.
When the support came to an end I was reluctant to let go of the working relationship. I am grateful know that Amanda is just at the end of the phone if I ever need her advice or support.
‘Thank you so much’
